FINAL STATE ENVIRONMENTAL STUDY (SES) DOCUMENTS
The final Bangerter Highway 4100 South to California Avenue State Environmental Study (SES) was conducted between 2022 and 2023. This document outlines the environmental reviews and public involvement activities undertaken while evaluating the proposed transportation improvements.

An environmental document is prepared by the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) for projects that are entirely state funded. UDOT uses the SES process to make informed decisions that balance project benefits and environmental impacts.

PAST MEETINGS
Public Hearings - June 2023
A Public Hearing was held on June 12 (online) to inform the public about study results and recommendations. They were open to the broader public to learn about the environmental study process, ask questions and provide public comment about the study options.

Please note, comments received during the online portion of the Public Hearing will not be considered formal comments. Comments will be received through the comment period, May 28 - August 2, 2023.

Public Scoping Meetings - June 2022
The public was invited to participate in three public scoping meetings on June 27, 28, and 29 to learn about the environmental study process, ask questions, and learn how to provide feedback about overall transportation needs and environmental issues that should be considered during the study. Input received during these meetings will help the team develop and refine the preferred design concept that will be available for comment later in the environmental process.
